During this Lego Mindstorms lesson we constructed cranes. The first thing we did was design a crane. We each did a different design but all cranes were built to be stable and solid. The cranes were balanced aswell. After that we had to see how to make the crane move. We used pulleys and string. Some lads used two or three pulleys. some only used one. We attached the pulley to string and put the string along the arm of the crane. We then attached the axle of the pulley to a motor and attached the motor to the RCX box. This gave the crane a source of energy so it could move and operate like a real crane. It was really CLASS!!By Eric, William and Jason
