Just like many of our legendary Larriers, RTE presenter Mary Kennedy loves the magic of libraries. Yesterday the boys joined Mary in Trinity College to help launch National Library Week.
"Once you go through the doors of a library you are entering an Aladdin's cave of reading, learning and visual stimulation – and it's all free of charge. I believe the library has an increasingly important part to play in the community, they are places where people can drop by and interact with others" the 'Nationwide' presenter said at the launch of Library Ireland Week. Launching the week of events in the famous Long Room in Trinity College, Ms Kennedy said libraries were magical places for all age, and with libraries in the classroom, downstairs in the school and nearby, our Larriers couldn't agree more! |
