Last Tuesday we visited Bull Island. It was a long walk to the island from the bus stop. When we reached the Bull Island Visitor's Centre went into the little house to learn about birds and science. We learned about other animals too. We saw edible crabs, velvet crabs, the common seal, long eared owl, bats, kestrels, glowfish and the bones of a dolphin.We also did about energy and solar panels. We put a long strip of glass at a light to see if the fan worked. It did work and we know that light can be a source of energy now.
After that we had lunch and walked on the beach and in the dunes. We played some rugby on the way home too. It was class!!
